The rooster learns that "Ushirikiano ni silaha ya nguvu zaidi kuliko ushindani" (Cooperation is a more powerful weapon than competition). The Weight of Responsibility:
Jogoo (Swahili for "rooster") was no ordinary bird. From the day he first crowed, a voice of astonishing power echoed through the valleys, a sound so clear and commanding it was said to make the very sun rise faster. But Jogoo’s character was even more remarkable than his voice. While other roosters were known for their vanity and pride, Jogoo was defined by his patience, humility, and unwavering courage. He was a loyal friend to the other animals, often placing their needs above his own.
Jogoo alijificha kichwa chake chini ya bawa na kusimama kwa mguu mmoja.

Convinced that the rooster's crow signaled the arrival of daybreak—the death of darkness in which their powers thrived—they would flee in disarray, their evil plans foiled once again.
Night after night, the witches tried and failed, each time repelled by the miraculous rooster. News of these failed attacks spread through the village, and the followers of Gumha would boast: The rooster learns that "Ushirikiano ni silaha ya
The story's most important lesson is about ultimate humility. While it celebrates the existence of supernatural forces, both good and evil, it firmly establishes that no amount of earthly magic or protection can supersede the will of Mungu (God).
Years passed, and Gumha continued to live under the protection of his miraculous rooster. The bird had never failed him, and the Bagalu continued their winning streak. But then, a day came that no one expected. Gumha grew old, and eventually, he fell ill. Despite the rooster's vigil and the strength of his own magic, Gumha passed away.
